How to Import the Map
Once downloaded, unzip the file. There will be 2 files “YouTube.db” and “YouTube.fwl” (or “modtest.db” and “modtest.fwl” for Valheim Legends). Then:
- Place these files in either of these locations:
C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds- this will convert to a cloud save on first launchC:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds_local- this stays on your local computer. Use this if you want to update to our newest version regularly.- If you do not see AppData make sure you have enabled viewing of hidden objects.
- You should then be able to launch Valheim and the world will show up as a local game.
